Win&Co Group (COCO) Acquires Momogi to Expand Market Presence

Winco Akuisisi Momogi

JAKARTA — PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk. (COCO), also known as Win&Co Group, is expanding its regional market presence through the acquisition of PT Sari Murni Abadi or Momogi Group. The move is expected to strengthen the company’s penetration in both the Indonesian and Vietnamese markets.

Win&Co Group signed a Conditional Share Purchase Agreement (CSPA) regarding the planned acquisition of up to 99.99% of Momogi Group shares on Wednesday (May 6, 2026) in Jakarta. The transaction will become effective once all prerequisite conditions have been fulfilled.

President Director of Wahana Interfood Group, Sugianto Soenario, stated that the acquisition represents a strategic step to strengthen the company’s growth foundation while expanding its business into the food and ingredients sector.

“We see significant synergy potential in product development, distribution, and market expansion. Through this transaction, Win&Co Group will also broaden its business into food and ingredients with access to two of the fastest-growing consumer markets in Southeast Asia, namely Indonesia and Vietnam,” said Sugianto in an official statement on Tuesday (May 6, 2026).

Momogi Group is a snack manufacturer that has received the Top Brand Award for 17 consecutive years. The company has also expanded into Vietnam through integration with Bibica Corporation in the snack food and confectionery sector.

Currently, Momogi Group operates two manufacturing facilities in East Java and West Java, as well as two production facilities in Vietnam through Bibica Corporation.

COCO believes the acquisition has the potential to create synergies in product portfolio, distribution networks, and international market access across several emerging markets in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

According to Statista data, the Southeast Asian snack food market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 6%–8% through 2030. Growth is driven by the rising middle class, urbanization, and increasing demand for convenient food products across the region.

Momogi Group Director Servin Njoo said the collaboration with Win&Co Group is expected to support sustainable business growth.

“With the combined strength of both companies’ brands and networks, we are optimistic that this collaboration will drive stronger and more sustainable business growth in the future,” he said.

In addition to expanding regional distribution, the integration of both companies is also expected to create operational efficiencies through supply chain optimization, ranging from raw material procurement and production to logistics and distribution.

The planned acquisition of Momogi Group further reinforces Win&Co Group’s transformation from a cocoa and premium chocolate-based company into a consumer business group operating in the food ingredients and FMCG sectors.

The company also continues to encourage business diversification into non-chocolate products such as snacks, biscuits, wafers, and confectionery.
